In the 3rd week of August, i had given my Dell Laptop for service.On 19th Aug, we received a call back that the component was not available and hence laptop will be returned without service, and so i reached TOTOODO, electronic city service centre. I was informed that the charging port was not working, and component was not available and service cannot be provided. The component cost was informed as Rs.2500.00 and since service was not completed, for diagnosis i was asked to Pay Rs.300. Since, i come from the same IT Field and is a DGM in one IT firm, i informed this and paid Rs.200.00 on the person's agreement.
However, to my surprise the next dell service centre informed me that the charging port was working fine and only one soldering to join a missing internal connection was required. The service charge was only Rs.300.00 and my laptop is working fine now.
So Totoodo person Mr. Siva, [protected] did a wrong diagnosis with a possible intention on wrongly charge me extra. And worst even after repeated reminders, there is no receipt issued to me for the cash i paid
In fact i should get a refund of Rs.200.00 which i paid to him, and also additional Rs.100 for three trips for spending petrol in my car for all this inconvenience caused, only then he will understand the customer unhappiness which he provided despite using a brand to invite customers, and for course correction Was this information helpful? |
