Sir, This letter is to highlight the concerns we are facing in our locality of Rangarajapuram due to drainage -sewage-rain water logging up to knee level, since the 7th of November 2021. It has become one month nearly ! The sewage-drainage-rain water accumulation in the area has been horrible ! stinking ! unbearable ! The main drainage pipe from the area, serving as the outlet is blocked. Lots of debris and wastage from everywhere has clogged and made the matters more worse.
Sewage water which has accumulated up to knee level, in the area has made it impossible for the families to go out for emergency shopping, milk vendors regular passage, newspaper or even an ambulance cant pass thru'... the whole place is stinking... Mosquitoes have started multiplying in the area.. It will not be surprising, if in few weeks from now, the area becomes epidemic zone of all mosquito borne / water borne diseases.
