The shop always operates without bills. I have purchased MC Rum with the printed MRP 60.82 and the shopkeeper has taken 2 rupees extra. When I gave 2 rupees as 1 rupee plus 2 X 50 paise, he gave the 50 paise back and told that they don't accept 50 paise there. I have told it's issued by government and I don't have issue in accepting and why do you have issues. They weren't ready to accept that. I gave another 1 Rupee and I have requested bill for the purchase. He took the bill book saying computer is not ready. again he closed the bill book and told that he will write in on a plain paper. I told no and I requested the bill with TIN Number. He told he can't give the bill. I requested owners phone number and he told come after 12 pm to meet the owner.
All the other liquor shops give bills and this specific person doesn't give bills usually. The shopkeeper doesn't know how to speak to customers.
Is there a ban by government on 50 paise? Where to complain about the excessive pricing and sales without proper bills?
