[Resolved]  TTE in Rajdhani — Bribe and Corruptive person

Hi,

We were travelling from Delhi to Chennai in Chennai Rajdhani Express (12434) on 24-10-12 in B1 coach.
We booked ticket for two persons in the same PNR.
While checking, the TTE demanded us to show the ID for both the persons.

The second person didnt show the ID.(As per railway rules, one person's ID is enough for a PNR).(For booking Tatkal e-tickets, each of the passengers (mandatory for at least one passenger) can enter his/her ID proof type and number against his/her name in reservation form, which is to be used for travel. These details will be printed on the ERS/VRM as well as in the reservation chart.
During the journey, at least one passenger, whose identity card number has been indicated on the ticket, will have to produce original proof of identity indicated on the ticket, failing which all the passengers booked on the ticket shall be treated as travelling without ticket and charged accordingly.)This is the rules given in IRCTC.So we did show the ID card of one passenger whose number was printed in the chart as well as the ticket.

The TTE threatened the lady passenger in the coach and demanded 3000Rs from her.
We were facing continuous trouble by the TTE throughout the travel and we were depressed a lot.
Please take actions and make sure that this wont happen for fellow passengers again.

I am Priya, the lady passenger affected by the situation mentioned above. The TTE tortured me and hurted me with abusive and harsh words. This created a huge trouble for me to travel.Without any option, I had to pay 3000rs failing which he threatened me that he will make me to get down in Jhansi station. Then, I paid a sum of 3000rs and demanded for the bill.He told me that he will give the bill after having his dinner.Whenever we went to see him in his seat, he asked us to be seated in our seat itself and we didnt get any proper reply about our bill.Post crossing Vijayawada junction, he came to us and told that if anybody comes and asks, u pls show the ID of the 2st person and he refused to give us the bill.He made me cry out of fear and when I cried, he told "Dont try to act".He also used unusual words like "This train is not your father's train".I want justice in this case since there is no wrong in our part.We acted as per the IRCTC rules.I want my money back and I want to make sure that this wont repeat for the future travellers.
