Customer I.D.[protected]-Account No.[protected].Land Line No.[protected]. I have been getting SMS demanding payment of charges for the Land phone and broad band connectivity I was using for some time. It was in a rural area called Chidambaranathapuram where it is proclaimed that new connections will be effected in 24 hours. But, for my utter disappointment and inconvenice the broad band connectivity failed over and again and the complaints in that regard was never attended in time. I was using the broadband only occasionaly whenever I happened to be in my village. But I was getting bills for thousands. As I had been getting most unsatisfactory service, I was forced to request to disconnect the service-both broadband connectivity and the land phone connectivity. I gave a letter dated 15-10-12 on 17-10-12 at the office of Sub-Divisional Engineer, Thirupanandal. I also handed over the receiver instrument of telephone as instructed. In spite of all this, I am getting periodical SMS demanding payment of charges for the period when my phone connection was not in use. Even today a got an SMS saying that "Dear Customer4, Your Landline Bill against BSNL Account No.[protected] has been billed with Rs.299 on 6 Mar 13 and the total outstanding Amount is 1910.Please pay before27 Mar 2013 at http portal.bsnl.inor through ECS. It only proves how poor the services are rendered to consumers. I am a senior citizen and the frequent SMS demanding payment for a disconnected service causes untold mental agony and torture. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful. S.Vembu.. Was this information helpful? |
