Sub: Reimbursement of cost of medical check up : Medi claim policy no: [protected]P[protected] valid till mid night of 23.07.2017
Sir,
As per clause 8 of the, page 13 of 17 .of the subject policy, I am entitled to undergo the medical check up once in a block of three years as there was no claim during the past three years. I also consulted the United India Insurance company, Coimbatore, and ( visu.[protected]@medassistindia, com ) before undergoing the medical check up. I am also aware that the claim would be restricted to 1 % of the insured value Which is Rs 1500/ in my case.
2. After the medical checkup I submitted my claim attaching all the original receipts to United India Insurance which was forwarded to The Medi Assist India TPA PVT limited, 1437, 3 rd floor, Red Rose
Chambers, trichy Road < Coimbatore 641010..Acknowledgement was also received through
SMS[protected] dated 24.04.2017. After a week, medi assisted wanted a copy of my Aadhaar card which was also furnished the very next day.
3. Since then, I have been following with Medi Assist, Coimbatore and United Indai Insurance, Coimbatore. But my case has not yet been settled and I have not received the reimbursement.
Now I understand the my claim has been cleared and sent to head office for payment
5.. I therefore request you sir, to effect the payment immediately, since it is nearing three months since I submiied the claim
6. In would like to state that it is highly essential that UIIC and the TPA settle the claims in a time bound manner, because the company does not allow even one day delay in the payment of premium for renewal.
The Poilcy being a contact between the Company and the individual has to fair to both sides.
