I am a four wheeler policy holder bearing no. [protected]p[protected] for my car registration no. Ka 04 mf 3985.
Sequel to my claim request, i received a message on 6 jul at 2-47 pm confirming approval of claim amt of rs. 11019/-. I had a sb a/c with erstwhile ing vysya bank that subsequently got merged with kotak mahindra bank ltd.
Based on the details in the cheque leaf, i had erroneously given ifsc details of ing vysya bank. Accordingly the transfer of claim amount through ifsc to the said bank a/c. Thereafter i realized my mistake and contacted bangalore office on telephone no. 22534038 and provided the kotak mahindra bank ifsc details. However, the concerned officer informed me that the earlier transfer rejection advise must be informed for remittance of the claim amount to the new ifsc code. Till date the said confirmation has not been received in the bangalore office.
This has caused inordinate delay in settling my claim. The claim is pending since june first week.
I understand the purpose of transferring of claim amount through ifsc is with an intention of speedy disposal of claims. However, such delays defeat the very purpose of the policy. Pl do the needful to settle the claim immediately, alternately you may advise the local office to issue me a chque. Was this information helpful? |
