Raghu Nandan Choudhary (Co Founder of Variance Technologies) (ph:- +91 [protected]) has taken Rs. 40, 000 for creating website momiffy.com in the 2016 and assured that the work will be completed in 1.5 month (in Aug 2016) and the remaining amount will be paid after completion. Till date he has not completed the website moreover, he is refusing to return my Rs. 40, 000. I am tired of running after him and at the same time I am bearing so much loss in my business due to non availability of a website. Also, I have to go through a lot mental distress. He is now (as on 24th June 2016) is asking for more money.
Please find the details below -
I, Jagriti Prasad sole Proprietor of Momiffy.com wanted to get an e-commerce site build for doing the business online. Me and my husband contacted Variance Technologies and we spoke to Raghu Nandan Choudhary (co founder) on May 2016. On 1st June 2016 he sent an e-mail saying that the development of site would take - Designing 1 week, Website Development 1 week, Ecommerce integration as per algorithm 1 week, Testing 2 – 3 days and as it was a complex project Wordpress was not recommended from their end. After negotiating on the cost we agreed on a Rs. 65000 to be paid in 3 Installments. On 7th July 16, it was decided the amount to be paid – (Please find the communication screen shot for June 2016)
Advance - INR 20, 000
End of week 2 - INR 20000
On delivery – INR 25000
We agreed upon all the features to be there on the website on 09th July 16. (Please find the communication screen shot for 9th July 2016).
First payment of Rs. 20, 000 was made to Raghu Nandan’s HDFC bank A/C on 11th July 2016, against invoice number Invoice: VT[protected], Dated – 11/07/16 (invoice attached). The money was transferred on the below accont.

I was updating and uploading the pictures and other details on Dropbox shared with me. I was asked to provide the dummy pictures as the original was not available at that time. I have shared the dummy pictures for all the categories in the Dropbox.
On 19th July 2016 I was notified Vijay will be handling the project as Akshay is on emergency leave.
Then after July 2016, I was told that they are working on the backend of the website and that is the reason, I am not able to see any update on the website link provided to me.
On 28th July 2016 I was told that Vijay is suffering from ulsar and is trying to work from home. They are also looking for someone new to work on the project. (Please find the communication screen shot for 28th July 2016).
At the end of Aug 2016 I was told that the problem they were facing was now resolved but I was not able to see on the face of the website. I was then told that they are working on the pricing part and due to this there is a delay at their end. (Please find the communication screen shot for 30 and 31 Aug 2016)
On 12th Sep 2016 they raised Invoice: VT[protected] for Rs. 20, 000 (Please find the attached invoice)
In between I was following up with Raghu and team on phone and WhatsApp, was told to have patience and given one or the other excuses (WhatsApp Conversation Attached)
On 22nd Dec 2016, I was introduced to Sanjeev Kumar, who was suppose to take the project forward. (Please find the communication screen shot for 22th Dec 2016).
The demo of the website which was given to me at the end of Dec 2016, was nowhere near to what we expected of the website to be. When I complaint about the outcome of the website we were told that Sanjeev has done some goof-up and Vijay is not available as he has started his business.
On 20th Jan 2017, I asked Ragu to return my money as he was not able to fulfill his commitment, and I was bearing loss in my business due to non-completion of the website on time. I got a response from Raghu that he was out of Delhi due to a death in the family and will not be able to communicate and respond. He then introduced me to Shefali Srivastav for future communication. (Please find the communication screen shot for 20th and 21st Jan 2017).
Shefali requested me time till 15th Feb 2017 to finish everything and upload the final version on our host server.
After that they were not able to complete the website and asked for more time. I had no other option as have already made payment for Rs. 40, 000 and had not received anything in return. After waiting till 29th March 2017, I again asked them to return my money back or complete the website. (Please find the communication screen shot for 27th Jan 2017 and 29th March 2017).
On 3rd April 2017, Ragu replied to me and said he and his partners are not together and they are filing for bankruptcy and will not be able to repay my money but will try and complete the website and will be delivering the same product which they are working on. (Please find the communication screen shot for 3rd April 2017).
On 29th April 2017, I sent an email requesting for the changes in the website which I was told will be done. (Please find the communication screen shot for 29th April 2017).
In the month of May 2017 the team started to request for new banners as the banners provided to them earlier were not good enough and requested to share more pictures for the different categories on the website.
On 1st June 2017 they said that the pictures are not up to the mark and will not look good on the website. I shared the pictures in Dropbox in 2016, which were to be uploaded on the website after asking that why they have not shared the picture sizes and the resolution before (in 2016), the answer was that we only came to know when we started uploading the Pictures in June 2017. After providing the resized pictures, they said the pictures are now small and they cannot upload the same.
On 5th June 2017, I called Raghu for the update. He said they were not able to get the website working as per the our agreed requirements at the start of work. He will now make a simple e commerce site on Wordpress using the Templet Aurum, which is for $60. (less than Rs. 4, 000)
On 8th of June 2017 Shefali got sick and Swati was given the responsibility to work on our website. I have to communicate with Swati now.
After providing all the information from my side, not half of the inventory (product pictures with description) was uploaded on the Wordpress website. The inventory which was uploaded was not with the correct information. On complaining about the same the answer I got was I can learn to upload the items and change the things myself. (Please find the communication screen shot for 9th June 2017).
I feel so cheated and harassed that after putting so much efforts and waiting for almost 1 year the website development was still not done (as on 23rd June 2017).
Raghu and his team never contacted me for any missing information or the required information. Whenever I asked for the status, they would always in-turn ask me to provide the new information or update the old information. This was just to show that the problem was from my end.
On 22nd June 2017, I received an email from Raghu saying they are ready to go live and will complete the remaining work later, and need the payment of remaining Rs.25, 000 now. (Please find the communication screen shot for 22nd June 2017) (Not half of the feature I requested are included in the website).
After talking to Raghu for precisely 83 min on 23rd June 2017 and asking why I am suppose to pay the remaining amount as the new Wordpress website does not fully meet our requirements agreed at the start of this website project. The Wordpress website being delivered did not worth even Rs 40, 000 paid earlier.
Raghu Nandan Choudhary is a fraud and I request you to help me recover my Rs. 40, 000.
