Vijaya Bank being my salaried account for the past 3 years, I approached the Founders Branch, Jyothi, Mangalore for a personal loan amount of Rs. 3 Lakhs for the first time ever.
I was given an application form to fill by Kapilesh Renuke and asked to get a guarantors signature who should specifically be my colleague and no other guarantor shall be accepted. On advice, the form was submitted with the signature. However, Mr. Kapilesh again sent me back to get the guarantors salary slip and ID proof.
It is very concerning to know that the bank is adamant that they need the guarantor from my office alone and not from out. In addition to that, all instructions should have been given at one go and not repeatedly send the customer for more and more information. This shows that the bankers are not knowledgeable and have no intentions to serve the customer. Moreover the organization I work for, has a policy not to disclose salary details as it is confidential. In this scenario, I fail to understand how could I request my colleague to be my guarantor and it is more concerning to know that I am never eligible for a loan from Vijaya Bank even after holding a salary account with you.
Another concern is with the seal that was required from my organization on the application form which was submitted as informed. However, the employee at your bank unprofessionally mocked the situation saying that a seal can be put even by him and that a signature is required. It was a very demotivating and humiliating situation me being a lady, I was treated like a beggar who has no credit standing.
On calling, Kapilesh arrogantly responded that he is in a meeting and demanded to visit the branch with all concerns.
To sum up, my concern is with regards to the unprofessional behavior of Mr Kapilesh Renuke, the limited knowledge about loan processing that your employees possess and the way I was replied to, when I said that I would report to the top management. He provoked to me go ahead as if he didn't care. Was this information helpful? |
While applying for loan itself it was evident that they don't have a credit standing in the institution. As per the mandatory requirements it's required by the employer to sign a salary mandate to deduct the emi directly from the salary, however this lady got only a seal without signature and was abusing my staff and called me around twenty times while I was in meeting and after excusing myself to attend the call started yelling at me. I only requested her to visit the branch later during my presence as the meeting was still going on.
On enquiry from her employer we were informed of her nature and low credit standing amongst her colleagues. However we did respond to her mails only to be sarcastically replied by her.
We only wish to inform that we are the custodians of public money and need to be extremely cautious while lending. Hope this forum is used for genuine complaints and not for damaging the image of the people.
