They called my wife as the HR of Viksit Bharath Aayog, they calmly explained everything what is a semi govt organization and provided shared a weblink. She went through the website and felt it was pretty legit, so paid the money for the exam, the payment was paid through QR. I had an impression that most of the govt job, a test has to be given, so she paid and filled the form. next day they sent a link of exam and asked that is it valid for once only so please login on at 4:30 PM as per time mentioned.
Then she attended their exam and after a day one of the lady called and told that my wife is selected and the are going to realise an offer asking money for police verification etc . My Wife send the money and told me about it.
I ask the details and offer late. at first look Web site look legit. but I did verified the SSL certificate, source IP and where this site is hosted as it says semi govt. I saw that site is hosted in US with Cloudfare Certificate. I was suspicious because Govt web sites are always hosted in country.
secondly, I check the offer later, and observed the language, indentation, address etc. and my suspicion has increased.
My wife called them and I asked to give me the phone because I wanted to talk to them. when I asked about the details of the organisation, the person said, its my logout time I will get back to you tomorrow and cut the phone.
