Hi,
I was travelling back from Delhi to Bhubaneswar on 29th Nov2020. Flight# UK781. It was scheduled by 5:50 pm. but it got delayed almost 2 hr. Boarding started late and flight was there in Runway till 8 pm. I believe it was okay being delayed with a valid reason. But ultimately the passengers get suffered. In the mean time, i was starving and asked a crew member for some food at least a biscuit or cookie. the crew member just gave me a bottle of water and said will check and get back. But even after that she never attended me for my request. This was really pathetic behavior, attitude or is an instruction from Vistara airline management not to help the customer. I believe, I did not ask anything beyond the service. If the Flight got delayed, who will be compensated?? I really have a bad experience this time. I was in an impression having good service and hospitality by Vistara. Probably, that is wrong concept. I definitely not encourage others to avail such option.

The rules of the DGCA of ministry of civil aviation prescribe the air carrier to provide the passenger with sufficient quantity of drinks and snacks, if the air carrier delays its flight for more than 2 hours, less than 4 hours.
Scheduled departure is the time, when the aircraft starts taxing from the tarmac or from the station of the airfield.
