I have an Cell No [protected] with Vodafone since last 15 years.
Have been feeling the arrogant services being given to the customers.
In my case, an caller tune was activated on my cell without my knowledge or approval.
I had never had any caller tunes activated on any of my cell nos ( I have other SIMs of MTNL, Airtel and Idea).
On asking them to deactivate the caller tune, all types of verifications are asked. Why did the not verify the same before activation of the caller tunes? They simply want to indicate the service provider by providing this tune free of charge, and this is against the rules, i believe, after the No. portability is in affect
Secondly, today I had asked to block my Cell No., as I have misplaced my Cell. But, unfortunately the same procedure is adopted. Tell me who will be responsible, if my cell is in some other person's possession and gets misused? Vodafone does not realise this IMPORTANCE. This is apart from giving my identification, (my Date of Birth).
The customer care lies with some Call centre (BPO's), who are not educated enough of the importance or urgency of the state of the complaint. When we ask to connect us to an senior, the standard answer is : The senior is not available now, maybe they excuse by saying that the seniors are in a meeting or not in the premises, at any given time of the day/ night.
The other service providers much simpler procedures.
