I Biswajyoti Das, residing at Surabhi, Flat-3, 125/5, Santoshpur Avenue, Kolkata -700075 received a letter from S.K.Banerjee & Associates Advocates, 2nd Floor, 6A Kiran Shankar Roy Road, Kolkata-700001(on behalf of Vodafone East Limited. 11, Dr.U.N.Brahmachari Street, Kolkata-700017) a notice letter for your client Mrs. PRIYANKA DAS(My wife), who is having your Connection No.[protected] & Account No. 1.38037189, residing with me in the same address as stated above.
Notice under Section 138(b) of Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 as amended upto-date, received on 19-Feb-2015 in the name of your client Mrs. Priyanka Das & Mr. Biswajyoti Das(Me). Where mentioned a cheque of Rs.2, 700/- dated 28-Jan-2015(of The Royal Bank of Scotland N.V., 25, Brabourne Road, Kolkata-70001 ).
Please be informed that as per your client (Mrs. Priyanka Das) there is no cheque dated 28-Jan-2015(of RBS) has been issued by her, moreover on confirmation from vodafone it is found that only near about Rs. 1000/- just left behind. So, what is the meaning of sending such a notice to your customer(of long period) where the mentioned pending amount is not the exact figure rather it is much much less.
Please check the current status of the said A/C- [protected] and also do the needful to nullify the court notice under section 138(b) against the connection holder(as the a/c mentioned here is already closed much earlier and no cheque has been issued on 28-Jan-2015)
On confirmation about the status of above court notice against your customer from your end and also on sending statement from your end, we will be clearing the pending due amount at our earliest.
Best Regards,
Biswajyoti Das
