I am writing to file a formal complaint against "West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development" regarding the significant delay in providing the results for the 4th Semester that I took on 09/11/2022 to 17/11/2022. This delay has caused me considerable inconvenience and distress, and I believe it violates my rights as a student and a consumer.
As per the information provided by the institution, the results were supposed to be released within April 2023 to May 2023 from the date of the examination. However, it has now been 11 months since the exam, and I am yet to receive any communication or information regarding the results.
This delay in providing the results has had several adverse effects on my academic and professional life:
Inability to Plan for Further Studies: The delay in results has hindered my ability to plan for my future academic pursuits, as I am unable to apply for further courses or scholarships without knowing my performance in this examination.
Financial Consequences: I am incurring additional expenses while waiting for the results, such as the extension of my accommodation and postponement of job applications, due to the uncertainty caused by this delay.
Emotional Distress: The ongoing delay has caused significant stress and anxiety as I continue to wait for the results, which has a direct impact on my mental well-being.
I have made several attempts to contact the institution regarding this matter through emails and phone calls, but I have received no response or assurance regarding the expected release date of the results.
I am seeking redress through the Consumer Court to address this issue. I kindly request that you investigate this matter and take appropriate action against "West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development" for their failure to fulfill their commitment and for the inconvenience and distress caused to me.
I am prepared to provide any additional documents, evidence, or information required to facilitate the investigation and resolution of this matter. I look forward to your prompt action in resolving this issue and ensuring that "West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development" adheres to their responsibilities towards their students and consumers.
