Hi, my name is ayan chatterjee and my employee id is 670170. I used to work 8n wipro (Kol), my process was talk talk order mangement. I had an accident in the month of dec, 2016, where i had a left shoulder dislocation. I was on rest for a month and then i joined back with the shoulder bag on. Unfortunately my shoulder injury was recovering due to the movement and it used to pain all the time due to the collision in between the shoulder bones. So i was asked by the doctor to be on rest for a minimum of 4 - 6 months, depending on my shoulder condition. I had a high possibility of re-dislocation and this time i would have to do an operation where my shoulder joint would be fixed with the steel rod.
I informed my seniors about this and also submitted all the required documents and certificates, but still i was asked by the management and hr to serve the notice period of 2 months. I requested them a lot, rather begged for the instant release based on the medical ground. But i was not entertained at all. So i had to stop myself from going to office.
Now from the wbpo recovery cell i am being forced to pay the recovery amount of rs.33456. I was completely on rest till date and i am the only earner of my family. My father passed away in the year 2013, my sister got married in the month of dec, 2016. To pay the recovery amount is simply not possible for me.
If this is how the management and the hr will treat the employees like me then what will we do. Accidents are sudden, i didn't have any hands in it.
