I relocated from delhi to hyderabad and wanted a courier service provider to transfer my bike and few household items. I contacted just dial and they gave me few numbers. I had to relocate to hyderabad immediately so left my stuffs in my flat and gave the keys to one of my friend. I was on y way to hyderabad when i received a call from the person representing himself as someone from blue dart and said that he received my number from just dial. He insisted on seeing the items at my flat first and then provide the quote i gave him the address wherein he sent one of his staff to see my items. He told me that he would charge around 12k for transporting the items which i can pay after the goods are delivered to my flat in hyderabad. He had also said that the items will be reopened by his staff at my flat in hyderabad which is included in the above mentioned price. I agreed and asked him to collect my items asap. He sent an auto and collected my items from my flat that evening. After collecting my items, he started calling me to do the full payment upfront otherwise the items will not be delivered. I asked him for the bill which he sent by via watsapp which had a charge of 26k. I called the courier guy again and asked him about the bill being so high to which he replied that it includes insurance, vat and other taxes including octroi. I knew that i was in a terrible mess as i had my bike and few other expensive items with him such as my suits which in itself would be having worth of around a 70k. Also i realized that these guys not from blue dart but www.bluedartpacker.com who are misusing blue dart's name. I did an upfront payment as i did not wanted to get into hassles since i had to go delhi for any chasing. Anyway the guy had told me that my items will be delivered within a 3 days but it got delivered after 10 days and in such a bad condition that i cannot explain in words. One more shocking thing was my items were delivered to me near my doorstep and when i asked them to put it inside my flat, they refused and demanded money.
