I have booked trip to coorg for 2 nights and one day for rs 27000 (Later on given discount and the total amount charged was rs 25700), earlier i checked on their website for 1 night and 2 days for 5 pax (Including one kid age below-10 years) which was of rs.4444 per pax. When i called them for further details they insist me to take direct private taxi for coorg instead of coming through bus or train and also insist me to take that package.
The driver came 45 minutes late of the mentioned time, they have given the wrong phone no. Of the hotel where they booked our stays and for that we have to roam here and there for 20 minutes due to their misorganisation.
In my itenary they have mentioned so many places as per their sales gimmicks (Where the customer will think that they are going to visit so many places but the truth was something else), but when we went, the first day of trip, we found all the places like they have mentioned-dubare elephant camp (Which is just 20 kms from where we stayed), nisarga dham (Which was walk-able distance), tibetan monarchy, golden temple (They have mentioned kushalnagar is around 35 km from madikeri, but the fact was the whole tibetan stuff were nearby to kushal nagar), and tibetan colony are one and the same and out of that tibetan monarchy and golden temple were closed due to renovation.
Second day itenary was - talcavarey (Which was in some distance of 35 kms and was good), abbey falls (Which was also good), raja seat, fort (Which was converted into museum and nothing to visit there), gadige tomb (Which is actually the inside raja seat) instead driver took us to triveni & one temple (Forget the name which was on the way to talcavarey) & another someshwar temple which was also on the way.
As per their third day itenary we were supposed to visit some "fort" but then the driver told that is the same fort which was mentioned in our 2nd day itenary and nothing was there to visit on 3rd day.
We were in their sales trapped and was cheated badly as they charged us rs 25700 for just small places to visit and out of that also most of the places where either in the same place or closed. When i asked their tour representative ms agila devi she with her calm voice (Which is the another part of sales gimmicks) that add some more places in our itenary as we found you people has cheated us badly. Earlier she told she will speak to her senior team and will surely sort out the problem, later on she told you can just go to mysore zoo (Which we have already visited many times and which was not a part of our coorg trip) as there is no other itenary and changed her statement saying that the pickup and dropped is from your home is outskirt and far from bangalore (Whereas the driver came from yehalanka which was just 18 kms from my home) so that is the last day itenary which they had not actually told when they had given me the tickets and details of the itenary.
Even the driver was so smart was trying to avoid some of the places as he doesn't wanna to drive more. While returning his behavior was totally very bad, he was driving rashly (As such he was in a bit hurry to reach home) on highway road in a speed of 100 and 2-3 times we were almost banging the another vehicles (Big vehicles) when we asked him to drive slowly he was deseparately told that you can even complaint against me i damp bother and on the top of that put the music on the high volume.
There should be control on this tour operators who with their sugar coating statement trapped the customers, charged high amount (But in hand you will get some few places to visit and later on you will realise that they have cheated you badly), will listen to your problem but will not give any solutions instead will tell you that they are not able to help you as it is not mentioned in the itenary.
I just want they should refund my excess amount which they charged for the whole itenary and the fact is we have just little places to visit.
