Another young personality from Mumbai’s suburbs, Yogesh Thakur Vicked Lasers is now allegedly connected with two notorious criminals in the city. Yogesh Thakur who is the founder of Vicked Entertainment Pvt Ltd, an event production company in India is said to be a close associate of Dharmesh Thakkar, a journalist with a drug peddling history.
Dharmesh Thakkar is an independent Twitter journalist who was previously accused of having links with the most wanted drug peddler, Sikander Cheemu by the Juhu Police. Thakkar was the one who then introduced Yogesh Thakur to his close friend, Laxminarayan Shetty at a party held in his place.
Laxminarayan Shetty is a RTI activist and restauranteur who is also a wanted criminal by Mulund Police. In the name of RTI activism, Laxmi is known to threaten, blackmail and extort money from builders in Mumbai. He has a record of running an extortion racket in the city along with two others where he was arrested by the Mulund Police who booked them under the IPC sections 384, 385, 506 in October 2015. Shetty is also linked with an international drug peddler and reportedly involved in the drug syndicate business because of his connections in the industry.
While, Yogesh Thakur looks like he has a clean record on his social media accounts which boasts of his laser light posts but it is not the whole truth. He is connected to the notorious criminals of the city like Laxminarayan Shetty and Dharmesh Thakkar who have a history of extortion and drug peddling on their record.
According to sources, Yogesh Thakur runs a closed-knit drug-cartel in Goa along with Thakkar and Shetty and has connects with an international drug syndicate that is run by their drug peddler friend abroad.
It is a known fact that Mumbai’s rave parties are known to be lit (as often described by the party-goers in the city), thanks to the buzzing crowd, groovy music and the laser light show projections. Some of Mumbai’s happening nightclubs like Esco bar in Bandra’s laser light shows are the work of Santacruz-based Yogesh Thakur vicked lasers which display the laser special effects throughout the night.
Yogesh is a well-known name in these happening pubs and clubs for not just his contribution limiting to the laser light show but also for distributing drugs and substances at rave parties organised in Mumbai’s top clubs. He is said to be the go-to man for contraband amongst the ravers in Mumbai and for throwing the best parties in town.
