I had the shock of my life yesterday when my mob number[protected] that I have been using over 5+ years was re-issued to someone else. When I contacted local Airtel branch, they were simply incompetent and unhelpful. I finally managed to get in touch with 198 to register my complaint. The reason Airtel Customer Rep gave was that it was not recharged for more than 90 days. That is completely Bogus. This is my primary active mobile number...
