This mover & packers has duped us royally. we booked our luggage from mumbai to jaipur. we had taken quotes from various movers & packers. these guys quoted 60, 000 and someone like balaji quoted 47, 000. but we chose these movers & packers thinking they are reputed and we could rely on them, making our move hassle-free.
The shifting started on june 27th. but on that day, they said, our entire luggage won’t fit in 1 container (this is when they had come earlier and seen the entire stuff that had to be shipped). they asked for more money and sent a new container the next day.
The 1st shipment which had left on june 27th, arrived on june 30th. since then they have been harassing us for making the payment (when more than 80%) has already been made. they wanted us to make the 100% payment, which we have because they said they will not unpack the 1st shipment and not give us the goods from the 2nd shipment unless we make the payment. the deal was to make the remaining 20% payment only after all the goods are shifted, unapcked and arranged.
Despite making the entire payment, we have not received our good and we are being harassed on every call we make. the staff is rude disgustingly impolite.
Today is july 5th and we still haven’t received our shipment. and we can’t open the 1st shipment because if there is any damage, it will be blamed on us.
I would like to claim for all the mental harassment, trauma and torture they have put me and my family through. as a senior citizen and a retired class1 government officer, i would like to file a law suit against this mover & packer to ensure nobody goes through this kinds of an experience ever again.
This is cheating in broad day light. my good have not arrived. we save penny by penny and make our home. and after retirement, when i am moving from 1 city to another, these bunch of dupers have shaken my trust, and mentally harassed and tortured me and family.
I need justice.
