I booked through Agoda Application for a planned visit to Kolkata dated 21st Sept 2022 for check in :1st oct 2022 & check out: 4th oct 2022, booking was confirmed (booking id:[protected], 4 person & 2 rooms) & payment was deducted by given credit card dated 28th Sept 2022 . But
unfortunately When we reached at the hotel at 2 p.m., they denied to accept us.
After trying many times we were able to connect with the customer care approx. 3.30 p.m. .
After listening to our issues, they told to wait for 30 mnt. to give resolution .
They didn't respond to our grievances, so we called again in between 4.15p.m. to 4.30 .
Meanwhile, they mailed that they cancelled the booking, we requested the customer care to give substitute, they denied .
After a lot of argument they do not listen anything, simply said sorry & refunded only the booking amount .
Being helpless i had to book a hotel nearby as i was with my family, at approx. 5 p.m.
I requested to give the extra amount which was paid in the new hotel due to immediate booking at the last moment . Neither Agoda provide any substitute nor the differential amount reimbursement after several request, though other substitutes were available in there website at that time .
Me and my family were the worst sufferer .We lost our money, time, comfort and most importantly our mental peace that ruined our trip .This was conveyed to customer care, still they simply told sorry .
