I have taken Airtel 4G dongle 3 months back and till last month it was working fine. I was very happy with the speed. But this my dongle speed reduced to some KBpS.
Now the story begins ...
Dongle # [protected].
1. Called customer care people regarding the issue. They created a ticket #63597422 and told me it will be resolved in 3-4 Working Days. Meanwhile they send one person to my home to check the issue. All went fine till now. Suddenly I can see my ticket was closed with a comment "Coverage Issue".
2. Called customer care 2nd time. They have created another ticket (They are very efficient creating tickets :)) #63746489. After 2 days they called and informed me that the issue is resolved now. I was very happy and they closed the ticket. LOL. Nothing happened when I checked my dongle. same poor speed approx. 100 KBpS
3. Called customer care 3rd time. Again a new ticket has been gifted to me #63828822 . I told you they are very efficient creating tickets :). Till now ticket status is reopen. Now they close and reopen same ticket.
4. Got frustrated with CC people and their arrogant attitude. Looks like they are doing favor to me. So sent email to '[protected]@in.airtel.com ', explaining all the history and nice story along with screen shots. Got a quick reply that I have sufficient internet balance and all is working fine.
5. It is just a copy message from their regular template. So send an email to Nodal Officer, Karnataka 'nodalofficer.[protected]@in.airtel.com'. Again explaining the story. Got a copied reply from Nodal officer that it is a "Coverage Issue."
I also tested my dongle in nearest Airtel 4G store to check coverage issue if any. My dongle was giving same poor performance in their office also. Changed the SIM as they suggested, may be some issue in SIM. But no luck.
Last 3 weeks I am doing all the nonsense job and was expecting a service from them. But this AIRTEL people are really good for nothing.
Please think twice before you take Airtel's service.
