Yesterday i went to mvp colony airtel service center for getting my sim card belonging to 3g to 4 g.
I have taken with 2 ids i_ adhaar id proof as well s my driving licenese proof.
My cell phone is already linked to my aaadhar card, as once went to similar office (Service center) in vizag., probably the main brach at vizag.
I am surprised, that this was not a sufficient proof for changing the sim card.
I waited for almost 1/2 hour. You r employee tells me this is your company policy. His explanation is that instead of a superior officer cross checking, they want to waste the customer time stating the that this is needed for the back end office verification.
We do not have any customer agreement between airtel and me as a customer, what will do you with multiple electronic copies of this customer information and still insist for the same information.
Your company stays or grows because of growth with customer base. You can not waste customer time like this. This so called senior front end calims, that the poor lady does not know the rules.
I have rejected this policy stipulated by this offcier after spending my time (1 hour and 1/2 hr and money in the travel costs from kommadi to mvp in vizag, specially in peak weekedd end time.
I have explained that i am senior citizen. Under these conditions, i request you to change your rules. If not, i shall be a customer any more.
