I had cancelled my account via calling the customer support on Dec 24th, 2014. I also got a confirmation reference number. I paid the Dec 2014-Jan 2015 bill too.
However, my account (as per Airtel customer service) is still active and not yet cancelled. I keep getting plenty of calls from Airtel to pay my dues. I have explained clearly that I have cancelled the account, but airtel customer support persons deny the cancellation and say the service is still active. I do not understand. Why should I pay the dues for Feb, March, April of 2015 when I had already cancelled the account in Dec 2015! Was this information helpful? |
