I have applied for fastag for hyundai grand i10 having no. Gj05jk2165 from airtel payment bank in 1st week of dec-2019. All my details were auto populated after i have entered my vehicle no. So there is no sense that i have entered wrong vehicle no. But when i have received attached message that my fastag is generated for vehicle no. Gj05jk216. I have received the same fastag barcode as attached but there is no any identification that this fastag relate to which vehicle no. I have also uploaded rc book fronf & back side copy at the time of application of fastag. Then how my fastag is generated for wrong vehicle no. That means there is an issue related to airtel fastag generation system that my last digit from vehicle no. Is truncated and airtel guys haven't verified my rc book copy.
So i have requested them to update my correct vehicle no. As gj05jk2165 but they replied after 15 days that there is no such type of provision to update vehicle number.
So i have asked for cancellation procedure of fastag and i have replied according to their requirement by sending damaged screenshot of fastag. I have repeatedly followed this procedure for 3 times but still they are giving nonsense reply that my fastag will not be updated. But i have clearly mentioned in email that i want to cancel/deactivate/stop/close the fastag and proceed for refund. But i think airtel fastag team peoples are illiterate because they are not able to understand the simple think for cancellation.

Already more than 1 month passed don’t know how much more time needed by airtel to cancel my fastag. I have doubt that they will cancel or not?
