I have subscribed for Netflix through Airtel Mobile app (Mobile -[protected]) at the rate of Rs 499 per month.
I have unsubscribed the above subscription through sending message to '56111' from registered mobile number as well as from Airtel app on 24th Jan'20.
I have called the airtel helpline number '198' on 24th Jan'20 to confirm that the subscription is successfully deactivated. The airtel representative assured me that the subscription is unsubscribed and I will not be billed for Netflix in future.
Today I got the bill generated where again I got charged Rs 499 for Netflix for the period of next one month.
Am extremely disappointed with this kind o[censored]nprofessional behavior from Airtel where the taking the subscription it took few minutes and during unsubscribing it takes this much time and effort from customer side.
I would request you to look into this urgently as am not going to make the payment of the Netflix subscription for the next billing cycle since I have deactivated it and it should not come in my billing statement again. Was this information helpful? |
