Airtel — as per the supreme court order, it is clearly mentioned that aadhar card is not mandatory

As per the supreme court order, it is clearly mentioned that aadhar card is not mandatory and it depends on the interest of individual person to share/ get his own aadhar. So can you guys please explain me why am i getting the message from airtel saying that "it is mandatory to link the aadhar to your airtel no". So what are you guys are trying to mention here, is it not necessary to follow the supreme court order?
