I am an existing customer of airtel digital tv (Id: [protected]), with the registered mob:[protected] i already had an existing connection for 1 year of hd+sd channels of rs.5999 valid till 7th oct, 2019.
Now for [protected]-001 as per government and trai regulation on new tariff packs, i was sent a link, where airtel suggested a pack for me at rs.699/month which was the closest to my existing pack and i approved it. I was told by the customer helpline that i will be able to see most of the current channels if i choose the pack suggested. So i did. (Ref id : 316864).
But even after so many days, i am not able to see many of the channels. Most news channels are also gone.
Many of the channels in my first connection for which i already paid till oct 2019 has been stopped. Although i had selected a new pack suggested by airtel digital themselves. Most news channels (Which is extremely important), along with many free channels, which were previously shown are not being shown anymore. The free channels like republic tv and all nowhere to be seen.
Also, i have been kept in the dark about the plans for the connecting set top box [protected]-002.
I have been previously assured that in time the problem will be solved but, but now they are saying i am not entitled to watch any more channels. They are even not providing me with most of the free channels. On top of that, they are calling me up to pay for extra channels. I feel terribly cheated and is cursing myself that i selected airtel and had been associated with it for so long.
Terribly disappointed by the service meted out to me. Please help.
