[Resolved]  Airtel — International Roaming fraudulent overcharge on bill

Rakesh - 7 days up and you'll still can't explain this bill?
i used free airport wifi for the 3 hrs at the airport - why am i getting charged 65k for this?
i didn't ask for roaming in the UAE, why was roaming active on my phone?
to prevent a high data bill, Airtel sent me roaming pack options when i landed in the US. how come no such was sent when i landed in the UAE?
Airtel proactively subscribed me to a 999 pack without my permission when i landed in the US to ensure no high data costs were incurred. how come that didn't happen when they noticed data being used?
my credit limit is 15000 Rs, how did they let my bill run to 15001 let alone 75000 without even checking if this was correct?

I am facing a similar issue and more severe !!! I will be homeless in a week's time !!! Thanks to Airtel's fraudulent bill!!

When i reached this page after searching the problem of mine with Airtel, i realized i am not alone. Airtel has charged me Rs 83000 even after applying all roaming packages and all. Would like to connect with you all to know and understand better how to present and claim damages.

I think I top the list - Airtel has charged me 4 lakhs and I got the message last evening..! Still waiting for a confirmation from them. Seems like a technical issue...so it's best we don't panic.

I am on the same page, they charged me 27K for 9mb data and I had a international pack on. How did you resolve this, their customer care is of no help.
