[Resolved]  Airtel — Lack of response from the customer care team

The customer care team seems to be highly incapable of providing service to the customers. I had applied for a change of address for my current airtel broadband plan, and the necessary person for the job was supposed to contact me within 24hrs, and they were supposedly going to complete the needful within 5days. It has been 8days since and no work has been initiated yet. Forget 24hrs, it has been 8days ans no airtel person has contacted me yet and when you call customer care they keep repeating the same rubbish of 24hrs and then later keep you on hold and not connect your call at all. All they are good at is sending the bill at the right time.

If the airtel service team is unable to provide service to its customers, I would suggest to kindly stop my airtel broadband connection as it doesn't make any sense to simply have an active connection which you can not make use of and in addition have to pay for as well.
And, can someone from the airtel team please explain to me, how a bill for the change of address has already been generated when the airtel service team now suddenly says that the connection is not available in the current location?
What's more interesting to note is the ads that are posted on the door of my residence when connection is not currently available, as well as my neighbors who are using airtel broadband when it is allegedly not available in my correct location!

Wish there was an option of giving 0 stars as feedback.
Customer service is that bad.
1st they don't respond for a week and then they say that the connection is not available in the current location.
What's more, they even send you the bill for this duration including the transfer charges. Now it's difficult to understand how one can send you the transfer of connection charges when they say the connection itself is not available in the location.
And its hilarious to hear this from the customer service team, because ads of airtel broadband connection is stuck on the door of my current residence and the person living in the next house is using airtel.
P.S. The distance between my previous residence and my current one is less than 100meters apart. Its hard to understand how connection is available in one and not available in the other!
