I had raised an mnp request from airtel andhrapradesh circle to airtel maharashtra circle on 1sep'16. i had completed all the relevant documentation as per mnp requirements and have received a confirmation from airtel that the number will be ported by the 17th of september. i have received an sms to this effect.
This has not been actioned by airtel on the 17th, post which i had made numerous calls to airtel customer service. i have received repeated assurances that the porting will be done and my new sim would be active in a matter of hours. this has not happened.
I had sent multiple e-mails to the customer service division and have not received a single satisfactory response. reference is ref36513910|] mnp
Having got fed up, i raised a formal complaint through their internet portal and have registered the same under reference po[protected]. to my dismay, when i tried to check for an update on this reference, the airtel complaints portal shows that this reference is not valid. has my complaint been deleted? i am providing the original message sent by airtel below which clearly shows the reference number.

In addition to this, after series of chasers, they have deactivated my old sim (ap circle) and have not activated my new sim (pune circle). the old sim has been deactivated at around 5:30 pm on 21sep and the new sim has not been activated. i am now stranded in a new city away from home and family without access to data or phone calls.
I would like to raise a formal complaint against bharti airtel on the following issues
1) mnp request not actioned as per the promised time. (still not resolved
2) airtel have deactivated my old sim and have not activated the new one for the past 8 hours. this has caused major grief for me.
3) airtel have collected roaming charges on calls and data from me during this period
4) airtel have provided inaccurate and false information in almost every communication with them.
I need my new sim activiated without any further delay.
