I had visited the Jayanagar 9th Block Airtel Showroom on 13th April and met Mr
Asib for a new SIM card(No is [protected]) and Datacard connection(4G LTE).I had
submitted all documents asked by him(2 copies - one for SIM card and another
for Datacard).
I was told by Mr Asib that there will be only one address verification for both
data plan and SIM card activation the next day(14th April 2015).The address
verification happened on 14 April, Yet the data plan and SIM card was not active.
So, again I visited the Jayanagar 9th Block Airtel Branch on 15th April for the
same. I spent almost 3 hours in the branch to get the datacard activated on my
system. Datacard started working the next day - 16th April.
I was told by Mr Asib that SIM card also will be activated max by 16th April
2015. I was informed by Mr Asib to call up 59059 and wait for 30 min, post
which the SIM will be activated.
Till Now, post 8 days of waiting - the SIM card is not active!!!
I called up the post paid customer care number[protected] and was told by
customer care executive - Ms Shruti that address verification hasn't been done
yet for SIM Card!!! The verification has already been done on 14th April itself
for both Datacard and SIM card - Why is there a need for another one!
I get this information after 5 days!!! Inspite of me visiting the branch so
many times.!! Truly disgusting !
I want to register a complaint against Mr Asib, Mr Bharghav (Jayanagar 9th Block Showroom
Executive) for misguiding me and not giving correct information.
I get a reply from 121 on 19th April, informing me to visit the Branch again to submit the documents.
As informed, I visited the Jayanagar Branch on Monday(20th April 2015), Spent almost an hour to speak to the Branch Manager - Mr Bharghav(cc'd in the mail).Mr Bharghav informed me that the number will be active within 8PM on 20th April.
Till today - 23rd April, I still have not got the SIM activated !!! Now, few minutes back, Mr Bharghav informs me that it will take few hours to get it activated as there is some IT issue!!!
Its a Frustrating experience for me...I have visited the branch almost 4 times, spent almost 8 days, followed up with the team over calls everyday to just get a connection activated!!!
PATHETIC Service !!!
Well, is this the kind of service Airtel provides to its new customers???
Even before activation, I am harassed in this manner, I don't know what kind of harassment is in store if I get the connection.I DONT WANT this connection to be activated...PLEASE CANCEL THE ACTIVATION of the number - [protected]
Never will I recommend anyone else to get AIRTEL connection - HORRIBLE SERVICE and IRRESPONSIBLE STAFF who doesn't know what needs to be done!!! Was this information helpful? |
