[Resolved]  Airtel — no service after mnp to airtel

Address: Kolkata, West Bengal, 700027

I applied to port my mobile number from vodafone to airtel on 7th nov, 2017, and received the upc the same day. It has been 11 days since then. My vodafone sim went out of service on 14th nov, so i have put in the new airtel sim that i received.

But i am still not getting any service on the new airtel sim. If i try to make a call it says "mobile network not available". I am not getting any incoming calls. I am not getting text messages. My phone says "sim is not activated".

I took it to the airtel shop, and they just told me to wait. How long am i supposed to wait for? What is this, a game?

There was no correspondence from the company. Service was enabled 14 days from receiving UPC.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
