I'm an airtel broadband user, a/c no.: 11478242. I upgraded my plan from 2 mbps to 40 mbps in june 2017, but since the beginning i'm not getting the promised speed. I rarely get a download speed of 1-2 mbps on some days and that too is inconsistent and rest of the time the speed which i receive is worse than what i us to get when i had a 2 mbps plan. Apart from this i'm also suffering from frequent disconnection of internet and it takes some time to connect again.
I've complained about it many times and all i've received is assurances. Every time they say that it was a back-end issue and has been resolved but i'm still facing the same problem. I've also provided the technicians with the video of slow downloading speed and even they've witnessed the slow speed and the problem disconnection firsthand but yet they have not resolved the issue. All they do is call me next day asking if the problem has been resolved or not.
Airtel is not providing me the services for which they are charging me, so in other words they are duping me.

Dear sir/madam,
I'm a airtel broadband user (A/c no.:[protected]. I upgraded my dsl plan from 2 mbps to 40 mbps in june 2017 but since the upgradation i'm facing speed related issues. On a good day i can get d/l speed of 1-2 mbps approximately but on other days the speed is worse than what i use to get in my 2mbps plan, which makes me wonder i[censored]pgrading my plan was a wise decision or not. I've filed many complaints regarding this and even visits were made for the same but every-time i was told that"its a back-end issue and will be sorted out"but never was. I've also provided the technician with videos of the speed and even he witnessed that poor speed while he was here on visit but till date my problem has not been sorted out. Apart from this, the other problem which i'm facing is that the connection terminates automatically and takes some time to reconnect, even for this i've been told repeatedly that it is some problem related to the 'settings of the modem' and that they have been taken care-off and would not bother me again, but i'm facing that problem on daily basis.
This whole indecent makes me wonder why i should continue using airtel's service because i'm not getting what i paid for and on top of that half of the time there is no internet connection because the modem is trying to reestablish the connection.
Please tell me what you can do to rectify my problem within a considerable time period otherwise i will have to think about other solutions like surrendering my connection and even telling other people not to get an airtel connection.
