Dear Sir, Its with utter humiliation that I am to inform you that today at around 10.15am I went to you retailer store located at Udaipur, Opp to Shtala Mandir, Radhakishorepure, Tripura State but found only staff there . I told him that I have to change my AirTel prepaid sim card bearing the number [protected] in my name as its not working on my smartphone during the last few days. As advised I waited there for ten mins and then an young lady came( who seems to be a regular staff of that retailer store) and when I told my problem she asked me to produce a xerox of my EPIC which I did immediately. But after five to ten mins she asked me to produce a photo of my own and in a hurt I made a stamp size photo copy of mine and went there again with Rs 30/- as asked by that lady. It was almost 10.40am which is also the time for me to attend to my duty in my school. But once I produced the stamp size photo that lady asked me, " Why haven't you made it I passport size?" I told her politely that as its my own sim and I had produced my EPIC then it does not matter whether its a stamp size or passport size as my documents are with you since I took this connection. But she didn't pay any attention to my request and straightway told me that without passport size photo she wont give me new sim. At that time she was accompanied with another lady staff.
. I felt extremely humiliated as it was an intentional attempt by your staff to harass a genuine staff. Moreover, I was late to arrive I my school ( Udaipur Ramesh Higher Secondary School) and that's why I could not attend my duties and was forced to take one day's Casual Leave. This is really obnoxiously harassing a common man for doing nothing. I beg your attention. In a fit of temper I left the aim card on the road and returned home with a pained heart. If someone gets this sim card and does anything I wont be responsible for it with immediate effect. I am also a frequent user of your 3G services through your special data simcards for the last two years.
. But today's behaviour made me really insulted and now I am feeling extremely guilty as to why I took your service ao far. I want a new sim on the Sam number but I qont go to that store again especially after today's harassment. Soon after I went to the BSNL's Udaipur office to change my BSNL PostPaid sim which too had the same problem(No-[protected]) and once I produced the xerox of EPIC( Voter ID) the authorities immediately took my old sim and issuie me a fresh one and for that I only had to pay Rs 20/- and didn't even ask to produce my photo ( be I stamp size or Passport)
. Plz do the needful .
