Airtel - horrible service. No response and i am running pillar to post to get my sim activated.
Indeed airtel's services are so bad and infact the ever worst responses.
I went to the airtel store to link aadhar.
First they told me since i am in ahmedabad and my number is from mumbai circle i have to change the circle to gujarat to enable aadhar linking.
I wonder why they just can't ink aadhar to an existing old customer. Logic behind mnp within the same service provider sounds very absurd.
Accordingly i was given the forms which were signed by me, aadhar copy was provided and the airtel store guy provied me a new sim card. Guys in the store told that once your mobile says "no sevice", replace the sim with the new one provided by us and the services will be on. Accordingly my services went off after 4 days of this activity and even after 48 hours of going off, inspite of contacting, 121, physically visiting their store etc., services are not yet resumed and the people in the airtel store have stopped taking my call. 121 says they are helplesess! This is the service of a major telco of the nation. This is for an existing customer who was running active!!!
