I am a customer of airtel broadband since 2004 and have trusted airtel since then due to its customer support but the recent event has completely changed my views against this.

I placed an upgrade request to my current plan (Rs. 799 with 40 mbps vfiber along with 100gb data) to fiber line for which i was getting charged only 100 rupees extra @ rs. 899 per month but couldn't install the fiber line for some days as renovation was taking place on my home at that time but when i called back the customer support today they say that such discount is no longer available and no one is ready to help me out.
Here are the issues:
1. When the order was getting canceled there was no notification given to me which is a fault at your end!
2. Customer support is pathetic and even your senior advisor are not ready to help me out.
With this, i can only conclude that you take care of new customers but you disregard your old loyal customers as no one from your support team was ready to help me in this case. I was given a blunt response that "i can't do anything you have to pay 999 if you want fiber" in the worst tone which you can't expect from a professional company.
In case this issue is not resolved, i am going to boycott airtel broadband and going to share the same experience with my friends who are using airtel in my area.
I will make sure that i take appropriate steps to boycott airtel broadband from my area due to the lack of customer support that we are having nowadays for old customers. Was this information helpful? |
