My Asus laptop purchased from Dubai, had international warranty. However I had to go through the trouble of making more than 20 phone calls to several customer care numbers over a period of 45 days to get the warranty approved.
The hard disk complaint was sorted by replacing it under warranty. However I lost trust in Asus product as it is a new laptop and had to go through service in its early life.

Service quality was poor, because, now when I boot my system, the right cursor key seems to be pressed by default always, and I am never able to put my system in sleep mode ever since. It just wakes up instantaneously up on putting sleep.
Now Im tired of taking this system to the service center over and over again and again. So fed up of this laptop, and the bad service company offer. I wish if for once I was offered an onsite service. Im so fed up of taking the laptop over to the service center too many times in a few days time.

So bad international product items have no free onsite service (pick up) - Most miserable company policy I've ever heard.
