i have been facing troubles with slow processing on my laptop since the time i have bought the laptop. i went to a computer repair guy before going to the service center and was told that there are bad sectors in the hard drive.
i submitted my laptop in the service center and after many days they returned me saying there are no issues with the product, but i was still facing the same issues. After 2 months of dealing with the laptop i went to the computer repair guy again, who suggested me to go to the asus service center to resolve the issue, and asked to repair it himself as the service center said there are no bad sectors in the hard drive. After inspection the computer repair guy told me that there are still bad sectors in the hard drive, you should ask for a replacement.
i went to the service center and conveyed that i am still facing the same issue. they offered me that they would fit in a new hard drive but i need to present a copy of the invoice from where i have bought it as my warranty period is over. upon me asking for he manager to speak to, one of the employees called Ajith started yelling at me and said bad words.
I have recorded a video of the same which i would be putting out on all the public forums.
Ideally the hard copy of invoice is not so critical to not service the customer properly, as in their records they already knew when i had bought the laptop. Still they insisted on the hard copy of the bill.
All in all, these are cheap tactics used by such companies to sabotage a customer experience. Was this information helpful? |
