I had purchased an rog series gl552vw laptop from an authorised dealer of asus in ghatkopar in december 2016.
The product has been giving me repeated issues since the start. The battery takes 2.5-3 hours to fully charge and gets drained out in 50 minutes. Also whej i use it on my lap, i get current from the base of the laptop. Infact i even got a burn on my thigh because of this. However i couldnt give the laptop to the service center immediately because of my workload and couldnt afford to be without a laptop then.
The laptop is in warranty and i had complained to asus in june following which they came home and replaced the battery in 5 days which i think is extremely slow service.
When the battery was replaced and tested i informed the person on site itself that its taking longer than usual to charge, to which the technician told me that it happens the first time and check to again later.
The problem is continuing and the charge is getting drained out again in 45 min.
I have registered a complaint with asus yet again and its been over 15 days since i havent been given a solution or response.
I am a freelance designer and my work is only on the laptop which is lying with the authorised retailer since 10 days. My work is badly affected and inspite of being pushed by both me and the dealer, asus is incapable of finding a resolution to my problem.
Please do not ever purchase any asus product as the staff is thoroughly unprofessional, lax and service is horrible.
I am totally stuck up because of them and i wish i had purchased an apple laptop instead of believing in this company. Was this information helpful? |
