We all know that the volte is a much required feature in india and it is available in almost all phones available in market today, it is also hardware dependent. But some manufactures chose not to update the phones even if the hardware supports volte and unfortunately asus is one of such companies.
To fully understand the ignorance of the asus towards their customers i will give an example, samsung j7 2015 & moto g3, moto x play etc are some of the devices which was launched along with the most of the zenfone 2 series these phones has volte enabled out of the box but for asus with the same specs and price we paid we were denied with this feature! After all the primary function of a phone is for making calls!! And volte is required for making calls directly from our default dialer on jio network. Instead of giving an update they has responded to this matter as the due "hardware limitations" it is not possible to update the feature. But we all know that the hardware is fully volte supported. And the solution they give us is to use jio4g voice app, this is when we don't like to use bloatware in our phones! We are using an additional software for calling only because the asus decided not to update the volte feature.
