I bought a ROG GL503GE back in June 2018 in Kolkata, around mid December the fans started to give some issues, so I called Asus Customer support and lodged for a home inspection. Upon arriving for the inspection the agent in question could not identify the issue and decided to take the device with him to the center for further testing. Upon questioning about the need for data backup, the agent replied that the data partition of the HDD was safe and no change to it was required. As is with the particular model, the SSD has the OS and the separate HDD was partitioned for different data storage. They said that the hdd was safe from data removal. They proceeded to perform a system reset without consultation and formatted my data drives as well. This has led to the loss of important work data from my system. Also, my OS has been downgraded from Win10 Pro to Win 10 Home. I demand data recovery services to restore my lost data Was this information helpful? |
