Asus India — Faulty laptop delivered and now not giving an exchange

I brought ROG Flow X13 from Asus India website on 20th oct 2021. On 26th oct 2021 it got delivered. There is some battery issue with the laptop. Asus have a policy of 7 days exchange if laptop found faulty. I raised a request for exchange on 28th oct 2021 via phone call. I have been told some trouble shooting over phone which didn't worked. That's how they wasted my next two days and I have to contact them 4 times and request and exchange. Eventually they said someone will visit my place from service center in next 72 hours and will check what is wrong with the laptop. If he find something not fixable then exchange will be done. Technician came on 2nd Nov and he assured me that the battery issue is rectified. Next day, 3rd nov, same problem, I called the technician and he answered that he already closed the service complain made by me and now he has to open it again. He said this can be only done on monday 8th nov because of Diwali holidays. Today I got an email from Asus, stating they have called me. I called them on their service number to get an update and they informed me that now my laptop is beyond 7 days policy so I wont get exchange. All they can do now is send someone to my place and replace the faulty parts free of cost. Why I will live with a refurbished product when I brought a new one ? Also its not my fault that their working is so unstructured or they deliberately made this laptop pass time so they can cheat me.
