I received new asus zenfone max pro 1 via flipkart on 16th oct 2018.
Warranty expiry till 10th oct, 2019.
On 30th dec, 2018 phone stopped working. (Approx. 42 days old)
Submitted to asus service centre in pimpri, pune, maharashtra.
Received call from them next day saying that phone is completely dead & none of its part working &
Repairing expenditure will come more than the buying price.
(Buying price 12999/- & repairing charges 17000/-)
I requested them not to repair & to return back.
One fine day, on 11th jan, 2019 (After 10 days) plugged phone for charging & amazingly it started working fine & till date working smoothly.
Now the question arises: how genuine are service centre authorized by asus?
Today on 22nd feb i was checking my phone's warranty & i was surprised to know that my phone is no more under warranty. : (
If as per service centre my phone was completely dead then how come it started working fine without any repair?
Went back to same service centre & told them the entire story & requested them to continue warranty of my phone but they disagreed.
I request asus india to give back warranty of my phone or else many will stop buying your asus products.
