I purchased Asus Rog G15 Strix laptop on 4th of june. THe laptop didn't have serious issue except heating issue which wasn't serious enough.
-On August 5 laptop got dead suddenly and wasn't opening. So, I immediately contacted asus support and they arranged a pickup of my laptop in nearest service center in guahati paltan bazar.
-Later after contacting I found that without even checking the laptop they ordered power brick. But, my laptop was dead, battery was more than 60% and my laptop supports USB C charging. So, there was no need of order power brick which took more than a month to come.
-After power brick came they said that motherboard is dead and power brick is okay, which I was saying them again and again.
-The motherboard also took 2 weeks to come.
-I tried calling service center multiple times to verify if everything was okay with laptop before they deliver it, but, they rarely picked up call or give clear answer.
- Finally, Before delivering the laptop I got to ask technician that if laptop temperatures are okay and he said that temps are not going above 90 degrees (which was lie).
_On 8th I got the notebook back, and immediately noticed huge thermal throttling issue. The laptop was overheating to 96 degrees and processor clock speed was not even close to its boost speed. It was a huge throttling issue with cpu and cpu was slow for rendering and video encoding and other cpu intensive tasks.
- I contacted asus immediately and they kept delaying the support and asked 72 hours but 72 hours never came.
- I gave them all the proof and screenshots that laptop was thermal throttling.
-On 15th of spetember they scheduled a pickup but on 16th they picked it.
-Later on call I explained all the problem to technician to which he nodded.
-From then I tried continuously contacted them for 3 days for the update but they didn't. On 18th september evening they said that diagnosis are complete and laptop has no fault. All this time they did wrong diagnosis actually. I just asked them to compress a video after which temperature rised to 96 degrees in few seconds and CPU clock speed was throttling a lot and was at around 3.7 Ghz -3.8 Ghz, where the CPU was supposed to go 4.4 Ghz.
-The technicians have no knowledge about computer and all these ignored my call and did wrong diagnosis.
- To this I contacted asus again to which same way asus wasnt hepful and asked to wait 3 days.
-The service center wasn't even updating the RMA and it was same as first time.
-Asus as always never contacted me after 72 hours on multiple case IDs. They always silently close the case without even asking or giving me a resolution. Such a scam brand.
- After multiple calls ignores and tries they said that on 21st september senior technicans are coming to check.
-To which I asked for updated for whole 2 days. I got no update, they lied about giving update and later ignored all my calls.
-Today I got to know that the senior technician that came said that laptop has no fault, cpu clock is supposed be like that. Which is clearly false and Ryzen 5800H is supposed to boost at 4.4 Ghz.
-After contacting the technician which clearly didn't want to talk gave no clear answer and simply said the laptop need to boost. But, CPU was boosting already as was above base clock of 3.2 Ghz. Clearly the senior technician has no idea about laptop too.
-I purchased the notebook for my professional work of 3D animation and video editing, but is unable to use my laptop for more than 1 and half month and bearing huge loss with my work.
-All this problem is creating headache for me and asus is doing nothing to solve the problem and compensate to waste customer's time and energy. Till now nothing has been solved.
-This shouldn't be acceptable by a brand like asus
