I purchased a zenfone 5 a501cg 16 gb from the amazon on may 12, 2015. ( and two more after getting this) one day the data connection was not switching on, i tried and restarted several times. I took the phone to your service centre, at thrissur, kerala state. After restaring and software change etc, they told that may be a board problem. Received my phone there and told i will be informed when the repair is completed.
One week after this, my other two phones (the same model) shown the same problem and i called this service centre. They asked me to bring those phones also to the service centre and the repair of the phone already given them is not completed. I couldn’t take the phone there. But after one week one of my friends checked my phone, interchanged the sim cards and the data connection worked. I tried this in the second phone too and it also worked. I called the service centre and told this, and asked them to try this method to the phone, with them. But they told their repair is not complete yet.They asked my rma no, but at that time the receipt was not with me. I sent the serial no of the phone, by sms.
On 3rd sep 2015 i went to the service centre. They gave me the phone. But when i tried to switch it on, the switch was not pressing down. The man there tried by him self, opened the phone and found the swich button was glued. I told them that mine was not glued the cover may be different. They didn’t agree. Later i found that is not mine, except the battery on which the serial no is written. Coz my phone was with mat finished display cover and was clean and with out scratches. When i told this they were not even listening to me. They told, that would be me glued the cover switch, they are not using such glues there, and my displey skin cover is glossy, i am lying about this. But i believe, the entire phone is changed by the service people.
I didn’t bring back the phone. I am totally disappointed. I still believe on the reputation of asus. Pls take some steps not to reoccure such incidents and also to solve my grievence. Was this information helpful? |
