Hi bought Fonepad 7 (FE171CG) on 19-Apr-2015 from Flipkart. Sometime by start of Jun my fonepad developed yellow lines on the display. I submitted my fonepad for repairs on 13-Jun-2015 (because i was told that it will not be replaced even though its under warranty). I was told that the main board and LCD needs to be replaced. Within 2 months of purchasing, main board and LCD develops an issue?? Seriously ASUS??
I emailed [protected]@asus.com on 17-Jun asking for status. No reply. I sent a follow up email on 23-Jun. Got a reply on 24-Jun with standard apologies and asking some [protected]@asus.com to help me with my query. No reply from rajasree_k. In the mean time i called up their customer service number and got a date of 24-Jun and then 30-Jun for me to get my fonepad back. Today, 29-jun, no signs of my product. so called up ASUS customer service again and they gave me a new date of 7-Jul-2015.
Guys, i have bought many gadgets and this is the worst product and customer support I have ever got. I hope ASUS is serious about their business in India because going by my experience, it does not look to be so.
I hope whoever is reading this compliant is willing to take the risk of possible faulty product and super frustrating after sales service.
