I have submitted closure form atleast 4 times, and also cmr to transfer my existing securities to another, 3 times. 3 times went personally to their bank and submit, and once directly sent to their mumbai branch as per their instructions by mail.
I have reported this to their grievances cell, nodal managers, bank ombudsman all these couple of times.
They gave so many reasons, form not received, id not correct, cmr not received, again id not correct.
Finally they ask more, like in-person verification (?) (I went and submitted why they did not do that?). And they say incomplete form, why they accepted in their branches where i submitted to send to mumbai, if its incomplete.
They are just framing causes to not close my account, and it caused me enormous mental stress for more than a year, i have email evidences etc.

Updated by valli_an I would like to be compensated by Axis Direct / Securities, for all these mental agony, they should have done this in say 30 minutes when i went there to close the securities, not to do more than a year yet.
