I am an NRI and jointed this portal a few months back with "basic package". Withing a few weeks I was flooded with fake profiles, which in this day of social media is understandable as anyone is allowed to create a profile on this website with fake credentials. Therefore a few months later I upgraded to "Premium" package which promises verified profiles only.
To my surprise, I encountered at least 2-3 profiles who had their Government ID verified on this profile but turned out to be fake. This seems to be an organized criminal enterprise because the person actually created a paid WhatsApp account, which by the way allows you to change your location to any country. It was there pathetic grammar and few other things that gave them away. When i complained about this profile with BM customer care, they simply disabled that account without explaining to me how that profile had its government ID verified !
I am concerned that this marriage portal is running a criminal honey trap enterprise to scam the young, hopeful population of our country and someone need to put an end of these Basterds. Was this information helpful? |
