Hi, my consumer number is 88977852, under bhiwandi gas centre, thane, maharashtra 421302.
My last cylinder was delivered on 3rd aug23 (Booking no. 165710) and finally yesterday while i have placed it as a replacement of the empty one, has been observed that gas is leaking and also the weight of the cylinder was less in compared to a normal one! We have lodged a complaint at night and the number is 06277090. Finally, today morning the technician came to my flat at 9:00am and declared that the cylinder is having pin issue and that's why leaking the gas, and even he has tried by replacing the gasket but failed.
Today around 10:00am the new cylinder reached, and we were forced to pay 320/- for reduction of material (Approx. 5kg)!
If it is declared as faulty cylinder, why should i forced to pay the money?
Is there any quality control process available, if answer is yes then why this harassment and delivery of faulty and damaged cylinder?
My only mistake that during the delivery we have not checked the cylinder properly and also not forced the delivery person to check the weight of the bottle.
If there is gas leakage, can anyone ready to use the cylinder till the 5kg got exhausted? Because there is always possibility of fire and life risk.
On what ground we were bound to pay the amount in name o[censored]sage?
We need proper justice.
